Gas Turbine Exhaust Systems and Components Bachmann™ Gas Turbine Exhaust Systems and Components provide the customer with the "Balance of Plant" Island, (exclusive of the Turbine Island and HRSG-Boiler Island). The BACHMANN Industries equipment is the critical link between the Gas Turbine exhaust flange on the one side and the HRSG inlet connection on the other side. Depending on the customer's specific requirement, the GTEx is supplied as the entire homogeneous unit or as components: Diffusers, Turning Vanes, Silencers , Stacks , and Supports*, Diverters, Equalizers, Transitions, Expansion Joints, Stack Caps. Patented features in the BACHMANN Industries Equipment provide the turbine and boiler customer and the end user with high performance, leading edge equipment to suit every plant layout, retrofit or new construction, up to the largest turbines manufactured.

BACHMANN™ SCR BYPASS SYSTEMS A Damper System for SCR Applications SCR service subjects damper equipment to very demanding operating conditions. With this in mind, Bachmann Industries, Inc. uses technology previously developed for use on Gas Turbine Exhaust Systems and applied for use in today's SCR applications. This technology, the use of large single flap blade dampers, to isolate and modulate flow, is at the heart of the Bachmann TM 4-Port Diverter System. The first large single blade Gas Flow Diverter (GFD) was conceptualized and designed by Bachmann Industries, Inc. in 1982. Since then Bachmann Industries, Inc. has supplied more then 250 Single Blade Diverter Systems.

Damper Systems Bachmann™ Damper Systems are custom designed by engineers experienced in gas flow control and isolation for the full spectrum of applications. Bachmann™ Dampers are recognized worldwide for high performance, quality manufacture, heavy duty design, innovative materials and leading edge technology and are all custom engineered for Application Optimization.

Fabric Expansion Joints Bachmann™ Non-metallic expansion joints are a proven solution for tough applications. Each flexible element (molded flanges, flat belt, or diaphragms) is designed for the specified temperature and chemical environment. Each metal frame design (hot frame, cold frame, telescoping liner) has specific longevity and application advantages. Let our experts properly guide you to the best solution. Non-metallic (fabric) expansion joints absorb movements caused by thermal changes. They are capable of multi-plane movements in small breach openings and produce very low spring rates. A variety of flexible element materials may be selected for corrosion resistance, temperature requirements, tensile strength, sound and vibration characteristics.
