'A' Range Syncroset

'A' Range Syncroset actuators combine the qualities of a robust electric motor and a well proven and simple mechanical drive. In addition, total environmental sealing and Rotork's positive attitude to quality, result in an actuator of the utmost reliability.

'M' Range Syncroset Modulating Actuators

Type 'M' multi-turn modulating actuators are available for use with separately mounted reversing starters. These are based on the syncroset specification 'A' Range design.

A/M features

The 'A' Range Syncroset actuator comprises a 3 phase motor, reduction gearing, torque and limit switch mechanism and a valve position indicator. It does not include motor control gear.

• Single stage worm and wheel gearbox with lost motion hammerblow effect (omitted on 'M' Range)
• Oil bath lubricated and sealed
• Detachable drive bush for machining by customer
• 3 phase, singe phase or DC, 15 minute rated, class F insulated motor with winding thermostat
• Suitable for ambient temperatures in the range -30 to +70 deg C
• The IP68 certified watertight enclosure, is also available with certified explosionproof enclosures including:
• Canadian Standard Association (CSA) Class 1 Group D Div 1
Factory Mutual (FM) Approved Class 1 Groups B, C, and D to NEC Article 500
